28 September 2013: Whitchurch V Pentyrch Rangers

Whitchurch 0 V 4 Pentyrch Rangers Games agains Whitchurch are always tightly contested, but today they lacked that cutting edge up front.  With no real outlet for their attacking moves, Whitchurch spent much of the game defending their lines. But in the 5th minute their lines were breached when a through ball from Harrison forced a hand-ball from a Whitchurch defender. Leigh takes the free kick which is parried by the opposition goalie.  Nat is first to react, follows up on the loose ball and scores. On the 15th minute Leigh sets off on a driving down the right flank, forcing Whitchurch to concede a corner.  Leigh takes the corner and with an inswinging shot finds the back of the net. With 40 minutes gone Ben wins a high ball and pushes it wide to Matt, who sends the ball down the left for Leigh.   He beats one man before cutting inside and with a  searing, diagonal shot scores in the top right hand corner of the net. 70 minutes gone and Callum plays a ball down the right flank to Sam who cuts inside.  As Will draws two defenders on  the left  of the penalty box, Sam  beats his defender before driving home a powerful shot to make the score 4 - 0, which is how the game finished.
